Case registered against proscribed TLP workers including Saad Rizvi

Gujranwala: A case has been registered against hundreds of workers of the proscribed Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP), including their chief Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi.
According to the details, police have registered cases against the banned TLP workers for violent incidents during the long march. The cases were registered in Saddar police station and City Wazirabad police station in which 207 people including Saad Rizvi and his brother have been nominated. Moreover, 600 unidentified persons have also been included in the cases.
According to the first information report (FIR), all the activities including road block and loudspeaker act were done by the orders of Saad Rizvi. The cases have been registered under the provisions of Loudspeaker Act, interference in business, road block.

An agreement has been reached between the government of Pakistan and the proscribed party. Negotiations between the government team and TLP have resulted in some points in the agreement, but written points will be released soon.
Under the agreement, TLP will end the protest today and no action will be taken against the protesters. Participants will return home peacefully.
