Child abuse is one of the biggest problem of Pakistan: Mizari

The biggest problem that Pakistan facing now a days is that of child abuse,” Federal Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari said.

Ms Shireen Mazari was the chief guest at the  web portal launch event. The purpose of web portal is to streamline treaty reporting for empowering of human rights and the GSP Plus status.

Web launch event was organized by the Human Rights Department in collaboration with a local NGO  Search for Justice. “Every time there is an child abuse incident, it is followed by an uproar, which eventually fades away. But what about prior to the incident? There is a serious lack of awareness and issue in the mindset of the people which needs to be changed.”Mizari Said.
