According to the administration of Masjid-e-Nabawi, children have been banned from entering Masjid-e-Nabawi and its courtyards due to Corona virus.

In addition, it is forbidden to enter the mosque with food and drink, but only drinking water is allowed for everyone.

It may be recalled that congregational prayers have started in mosques of other cities of Saudi Arabia along with Masjid-e-Nabawi from May 31, but Masjid-ul-Haram has not been opened for ordinary worshipers yet.

It should be noted that in view of the fear of the spread of Corona virus, the Saudi government had locked down the entire country and banned the congregational prayers and the entry of worshipers in all mosques, including the Kaaba and Masjid-e-Nabawi

The Saudi government has announced ease in lock downs on 31 May and allowed the opening of offices with proper precautionary measure. While the Saudi government has also sprayed disinfectants in 90,000 mosques across the country.
