China skipped participation in a G-20 meeting held in Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, which Beijing claims as its part.

The delegates including from the US, participated in the G-20 Research Innovation Initiative Gathering also visited the local legislative assembly at Itanagar city of the state, claims Indian official sources.

China doesn’t recognise India’s sovereignty over Arunachal and said the state is a part of south Tibet.

India is reported to be hosting a G-20 meeting on culture in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in May. Pakistan and people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been lobbying China, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia – all G20 member-states – to stop India from hosting the proposed meeting in Srinagar as Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory as per UN resolutions.

India has curbed and snatched all rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir while thousands including Kashmiri leadership, youth, women, journalists and human rights defenders are illegally detained in different jails of India and IIOJK.
