BEIJING: In the final stages of completion of China’s landmark project compared to the United States, the United States is worried, according to reports, China has announced that it will be compared to the US Global Positioning System (GPS). The Bedouin Navigation Satellite System (BNSS) will be completed this month with the launch of the last satellite into space.

Chinese officials say GPS satellites are being used for location data beaming in smartphones, vehicle navigation systems and all such systems, and all such satellites are controlled by the US Air Force and now China is the world’s largest. It is about to become the second country to succeed in developing this technology.

Sources say that China came up with the idea of BNSS in the 1990s because its military wanted to reduce its reliance on GPS operated by the US Air Force.

The first Bedouin satellites were launched in 2000 with limited coverage in China, but after an increase in the use of mobile devices in 2003, China sought to join the EU-proposed Galileo satellite navigation system, but then on Bedouin. Abandoned it to focus.

China launched third-generation satellites into space in 2015 for global coverage, with the 35th and final satellite being launched in June, the date of which has not yet been announced. 31 GPS satellites have been launched into space. I will have more satellites. China has invested 10  billion in the project, so that the communications network of the Chinese forces is secure and there is no risk of losing GPS in any major dispute. The service will be accurate up to 10 cm in Asia Pacific while the rate is 30 cm in GPS.

Andrew Dempster, director of the Australian Center for Space Engineering Research, said: “Bedouin was designed decades after GPS, so it had the opportunity to learn a lot from the GPS experience.” The port is providing traffic monitoring and natural disasters to 120 countries. Most of the countries to which these services are being provided are also part of China’s Belt and Road project, which is part of China’s current Silk Road.

Baidu was enabled in more than 70% of mobile phones in China in 2019, including phones from Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo and Samsung. According to Chinese media, China’s satellite navigation sector is worth this year. More than 57 billion, while the value of satellite-related shares has risen sharply since the project was announced.

Ren Chengki, Bedouin’s project director, said late last year that the system could be used for a variety of purposes, including high-performance indicators and new technology systems. We are planning to launch it into orbit, which will complete the Bedouin 3 system.

He said that in the future, a smarter, more accessible and integrated system will be made online by 2035 as part of Bedouin. To serve the world and benefit humanity.

Pakistan and Thailand were the first countries to become part of Bedouin Services in 2013.

Over the past two decades, China has rapidly developed its space program and developed technologies with a focus on self-reliance, and is currently working to excel in areas such as FiveG data processing. China became the third country in the world to send a manned mission into space and has since built an experimental space station and a mission to the surface of the moon.

China also plans to send a fully functional permanent space station in the future, while also sending a mission to Mars and humans to the moon.

A Bloomberg report last year said it was China’s most daring project, an unprecedented achievement for the country, which already has a space commercial flight, cheap energy from artificial sun and a man-made artificial moon.

For this second global navigation system, companies will need to develop unique infrastructure, materials, parts and software, and in this regard, Chinese companies are developing devices that will be compatible with Bedouin by 2020. One and a half crore chips per year will be used only in automatic vehicles.

China is currently the world’s largest and most attractive auto market, and the Chinese government wants all vehicles to use Baidu in 2020, for which major car companies such as Toyota and Volkswagen are also working.

Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi are also working to include the technology in their smartphones, while Qualcomm, a US-based global smartphone chips maker, says it has long supported the Chinese GPS system. China has been using the technology for government-built aircraft since last year.
