Friday, July 10th: As per the report of Baaghi TV, Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa has tweeted about Kohala Power and Azad Pattan project.
Asim Saleem Bajwa said that Prime Minister Azad Kashmir and officials of Chinese companies visited Kohala Power and Azad Patan projects, Chief Executive Officer of China and other officials visited the projects separately, thanking officials of Chinese companies for providing cooperation in projects with CPEC Authority.
Earlier, Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider had a meeting with Chairman CPEC Authority Lt. Gen. R. Asim Saleem Bajwa. The heads of Chinese companies also met Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa. Discussions were held on starting work on the projects.

The meeting discussed steps to start work on the projects as soon as possible. Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa said that the projects paved the way for investment of 4 billion, energy projects will generate 1800 MW of electricity. The projects will create 8,000 jobs
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the CPEC Authority to expedite the implementation of various projects on priority basis under the second phase of CPEC and the Prime Minister directed the projects regarding socio-economic development in the second phase of CPEC. He called for finalization of projects on priority basis and their timely completion and in this regard directed all concerned ministries to set targets for completion of projects and make inter-ministerial coordination more effective.
