Prolong Load shedding in Karachi: PM Imran Khan gave a big order

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Federal Minister Asad Umar, Special Assistant Shehzad Qasim and Governor Sindh to work out a solution to the power crisis in Karachi.

According to details, Governor Sindh met Prime Minister Imran Khan. The situation in Sindh, especially in Corona, was discussed during the meeting. The Sindh Governor appreciated the Prime Minister’s vision and successful strategy on Corona.

Electric issues were also discussed during the meeting. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail informed the Prime Minister about the load shedding.

Taking notice of load shedding in Karachi, Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered that the power issue in Karachi be resolved immediately.

Imran Khan directed to meet Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Special Assistant for Power Division Shehzad Qasim and Governor Sindh Electric Management to resolve the issues related to K Electric so that the issues could be resolved.

It is to be noted that a series of announced and unannounced load shedding is going on in different areas of Karachi.

Prolonged power outages have caused severe distress to the citizens and due to the gap between supply and demand, the duration of declared and undeclared load shedding has reached six to ten hours.
