Taiwan: Chinese fighter jets continued to demonstrate their air power in Taiwan’s airspace for the second day after a Chinese warplane was reportedly shot down by Taiwan.

According to international media reports, Chinese planes continued to fly over Taiwan’s airspace for the second day in a row. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry has urged China to refrain from such actions to disrupt peace in the region. “The other day, Chinese planes entered our territory in the Taiwan Parker Strait,” he said, China should not repeatedly destroy the peace and stability of the region.”

The Defense Ministry urged China to stop such acts against peace, as such actions are creating hatred against China among the citizens. China, which claims ownership of Taiwan, has conducted several military exercises off its coast and near Taiwan in recent weeks.

According to Russian Today, Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense said Thursday morning that Su-30 fighter jets and Y-8 fighter jets were among the Chinese planes that entered Taiwan’s northwestern airspace.

A statement from the Ministry of Defense said: “The Ministry of Defense has once again urged the Chinese Communist Party not to repeatedly undermine peace and stability in the region.”
The statement said that China’s actions are creating hatred in the hearts of Taiwanese citizens.

According to the ministry, Taiwan sent its planes to stop the Chinese planes and soon tracked the “movement of the enemy”.

Taiwan is an important province of the People’s Republic of China. It is an island and consists of more than 80 small and large islands. The total area of this province is about 36,000 square kilometers.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has urged Taiwanese citizens to recognize that they are part of China and that “Taiwan will continue to integrate into China.”

In a speech marking the 40th anniversary of the resumption of relations between China and Taiwan, the Chinese president reiterated his offer to integrate Taiwan on the basis of the “one country, two systems” ideology. At the same time, he said that China could use force in this matter.

Beijing, on the other hand, says such exercises are not uncommon and are aimed at demonstrating its commitment to defending its integrity.
