According to the report of Baaghi TV, the preliminary investigation report in the motorway abuse case has been submitted to the Punjab Chief Minister.

An inquiry committee has called on the Punjab Chief Minister in which the team has submitted a preliminary investigation report to the Chief Minister. In the investigation meeting, a key government official has claimed the identity of the accused.

According to the report of senior journalist Rana Muhammad Azeem, regarding the report submitted to the Punjab Chief Minister, the sources said that the accused has been identified. The photo of the accused has been sent to the victim through WhatsApp for identification.

A committee set up by the Punjab Chief Minister inspected the site yesterday. Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat, IG Punjab Inam Ghani also reached the spot.

He said the investigation into the incident was being carried out on modern scientific lines. The accused will soon be brought to justice.

According to police sources, an investigation is underway into the incident of gang rape of a woman on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway. Geo-fencing of the scene has been done. CCTV footage is also being used to search for the culprits. Police have also sketched the accused on the victim’s statement.

Police contacted the victim to record a statement, to which the family said the victim’s condition was not such that they could record a statement.

SSP Investigation Zeeshan Asghar says he can understand the woman’s condition. The victim’s statement will be recorded when possible.
