Lahore, 18th December: Pakistan’s leading pathology lab, Chughtai Labaroraties has partnered with Pfizer company to establish vaccination centres across the country.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Chughtai Lab has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with Pfizer to establish vaccination centres across Pakistan.

The step has been taken by the leading laboratories of Pakistan to improve the access to COVID-19 vaccine across the country.

The MOU signing ceremony was held at Chughtai Lab’s Head Office at Jail Road Main Gulberg, Lahore on November 24.

The company updated on its official Twitter page:

Chughtai Lab claims to provide only the approved vaccines in the country, the price of which has not been confirmed by the company as yet.

Dr Omar Chughtai, the owner and director of Chughtai Lab had tweeted on his account confirming the process of setting up vaccination centres in multiple areas in Pakistan.

Replying to a question on how long the vaccine gets available in Pakistan, he said, “We are working on several options. The issue is the allocation to Pakistan. Hopeful to get some supplies in 3-4 months.”

He recently shared an article on his Twitter account about COVID vaccine by Pfizer:

Both Chughtai Lab and Pfizer share the same core values of improving the lives of patients through immunization and access to medicines.

It is expected that the Government of Pakistan will likely be getting COVID-19 vaccine during March, and they will start vaccinating older people and front line health workers.

As per sources, the government will be procuring COVID vaccine from China through the World Health Organization (WHO) which may take a longer period.

However, Pfizer vaccine is being obtained by Chughtai Lab privately. So the best bet for people of all age groups is to get Pfizer vaccine through the authentic Chughtai Labs, which according to reliable sources is 94% efficient.

The first Chughtai Vaccination Center was inaugurated on 25th November at Lalak Jan Chowk, DHA Lahore.

Earlier, Baaghi TV also reported that 13,000 people volunteered to get a trial vaccine in Pakistan. The first human trials of the vaccine, developed by the Chinese company CanSino Biologics Inc, started on September 22 in Pakistan. Since then, the country has administered the experimental vaccine to 13,000 people.
