Cinemas to reopen with ‘Mulan’ and ‘Tenet’

Lahore, 6th September: After almost six months of lockdown in the country, the entertainment industry is about to reopen.

According to the reports of Baaghi TV, following almost six months of shuttered cinema halls amid the ongoing pandemic, the local cinema industry is finally ready to welcome the citizens of Pakistan.

Punjab opens cinemas and theatres with strict SOPs

Cinema halls, cinema owners, film exhibitors, and distributors have taken it upon themselves to raise the curtains with two Hollywood films, Mulan and Tenet.

‘Mulan’ will be released nationwide on September 11, which will mark the first to brace moviegoers whereas Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’, which has also already released in the US and the UK, will finally release in Pakistan on September 18.

However, all SOPs will be maintained within and outside the cinema halls. Cinema owners and employees have been asked to follow all regulations and there will be minimum seats available in each cinema hall with a maximum distance between the viewers.”

Film producers, cinema owners, and distributors are expecting a warm response from the public after the long-lasting lockdown. Stakeholders, on the other hand, are hoping the opening films will provide some sort of relief after the overbearing financial losses.
