Lahore, 28th June: Citizens kick down doors of a vaccination center and injure security guards in Islamabad.
According to reports, people in the federal capital, Islamabad, kicked down the doors of a mass vaccination center at the F-9 Park on Monday.
As a result of the outburst, two security guards at the coronavirus vaccination center were also injured.
According to details, a huge crowd of people gathered at the main gate of the vaccination center today morning.
Sources tell that these people were scheduled to travel abroad, hence they tried to enter the center forcefully and knocked down the doors.
After the surge of people, the administration was left with no choice but to shut down the entry points of the vaccination center.
District Health Officer Zaeem Zia said that an influx of people from other cities caused a rush at the entry gate of the vaccination center. He informed that because of COVID-19 safety protocols they could not let everyone enter together.
As per reports, AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines against COVID-19 were being administered at the F-9 Park vaccination center.
According to the latest data, Pakistan has administered approximately 14 million coronavirus vaccine doses so far.
