According to the report of Baaghi TV, a high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. The meeting reviewed the issues related to construction of small dams to prevent wastage of water in the rivers of Koh-e-Suleiman. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar gave in-principle approval to start preliminary work on 4 small dams in the area Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that time was needed to build small dams for water storage. The Punjab government is considering various options for small dams. Millions of cusecs of water are lost every year in the rivers of Koh-e-Suleiman.
