Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar, has reportedly issued orders regarding violation of SOPs in the market place. 

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has ordered strict implementation of SOPs issued with reference to Coronavirus.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has said that markets and bazaars will be sealed for violation of SOPs. He added that the violation of SOPs will not be tolerated.

Tweeting on social networking site Twitter, the Punjab Chief Minister said that “The government eased the lockdown in view of possible hunger and poverty, but at the same time all concerned associations promised to implement the SOPs but, in most places SOPs are not being implemented at all and instructions have been issued to take strict action across Punjab!!”

On the other hand, it was decided to close major markets across the country that did not implement SOPs. An operation was launched to close major markets in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He issued orders to the administration and police saying that now the time for amnesty is over, all officers should go out in the field.
