COAS visits Army Medical Corps Center Abbottabad

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived at Army Medical Corps Center Abbottabad today on an important visit where he was accorded a hearty welcome.

According to Pakistan Army Spokesperson ISPR, upon arrival at the Army Medical Corps Center, Abbottabad, the Chief of Army Staff offered Fatiha prayers at the memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs.

According to sources, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa presented badges to the first lady Colonel Commandant of AMC Lieutenant General Nigar Johar on the occasion and congratulated her.

According to ISPR, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the Army and the nation are proud of the three-star General for becoming Colonel Commandant.

On the occasion, the Chief of Army Staff lauded the role of AMC in providing health facilities in peace and war environment and said that the role of AMC has been commendable during the Corona pandemic.
