Committee formed on the issue of corona vaccine to unrelated persons in Karachi

8 February 2021: Sindh Health Minister Dr. Ezra Pechoho has ordered concerned authorities to form an urgent committee on the issue of immunization of unrelated persons. A three-member committee was formed and DG Health Dr. Irshad Memon was appointed as the head of the committee.

The committee, which will be required to submit a report to the provincial government every week and at the same time it has been ordered that no one other than the front line health workers will be allowed to be vaccinated. Further, Deputy District Health Officer Anila Qureshi was also dismissed immediately.
