Aug 18, 2021: Health regulatory bodies in the UK have approved Moderna vaccine against corona virus for use by children between the ages of 12 to 17.

According to reports by The Guardian, two months ago in the UK, Pfizer and Germany’s bionTech corona virus vaccine was approved to be given to children between the ages of 12 and 17.

European authorities have approved the moderna corona virus vaccine for children, but it has not yet been approved in the United States. Children between the ages of 16 and 17 will not need parental permission to be vaccinated.

The announcement by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) follows the announcement that the first dose of the Corona virus 19 vaccine will be given to children aged 16 and 17 in England before school on Monday 23 August.

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has declared it safe and effective for children. Currently, Pfizer Corona virus jabs are offered to children between the ages of 12 and 15 only if they are considered immuno compromised. It has been decided to vaccinate children between the ages of 16 and 17 this week.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Arden, has imposed a three-day nationwide lockdown after the appearance of a single case of corona virus. The first case of corona has been reported now in New Zealand in August since February.

Arden told a news conference on Tuesday that authorities were assuming it was a delta variant of the corona virus, but that an investigation was under way. This citizen who contacted the virus was not vaccinated.

During the severe lockdown in New Zealand, the public has been instructed to stay indoors and keep businesses closed. Pharmacy and other grocery stores will remain open. Under Level Four Lockdown for corona virus, everyone must stay at home and businesses are closed for essential amenities such as supermarkets and pharmacies.
