Lahore, 22nd April: The pandemic has created a gloomy picture across the world, on one hand where people are losing their lives, while, on the other, the ex-pats who are dying are being buried abroad and their dead bodies are not being delivered to their homeland.
It has been reported that in Gulf countries the coronavirus victims are being buried or burnt and the parents, siblings, wife, and children are not being allowed to see their last faces.
The workers who had gone to work in the Gulf States to earn living for their families got stuck there because of the pandemic and a strict lockdown. Their dream of returning to their families and being buried in their homeland is becoming a nightmare with every passing day.
With the spread of the coronavirus worldwide, dozens of such workers have fallen victims to COVID-19. They are losing their lives and unfortunately, the dead bodies of such people are not being sent back home as per the reports.

The economy of the Gulf countries has improved because of the influx of such ex-pats, and in return, they are paying their employees in such a sad way by not returning their dead bodies to the respective homeland.

One of the Corona victims who lost his life included a 50-year-old Indian man in Dubai, was cremated by government officials under strict security arrangements.
Authorities held the body of the deceased person for half an hour before the last rites and waited for a close friend to come at the last moment, but after some time the authorities burnt the body. His remains were put in a silver container and handed over to the embassy.
