COVID-19: How many active cases in Pakistan?
National command & Operation Centre releases COVID-19 updates till the 4th of May.
According to reports, the total number of active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan reaches 14,134. With 1,083 cases confirmed in a day on 3rd May.
A total of 20,186 cases detected so far:
- 71 in Azad Jammu & Kashmir
- 1,218 in Balochistan
- 364 in Gilgit-Baltistan
- 415 in Islamabad
- 3,129 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- 7,524 in Punjab
- 7,465 Sindh
According to reports, 5,590 positive patients have recovered while, 462 deaths have been confirmed. Twenty-two new casualties reported on 3rd May:
- Sindh: 130
- Punjab: 124
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 180
- Islamabad: 4
- Balochistan: 21
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 3
It is to be noted that 173 patients are reported as critical. So far, 212,511 tests have been conducted across Pakistan with (9,522 tests conducted in a day on the 3rd of May.
Approximately, 717 hospitals with COVID facilities with have 3,839 patients admitted across the country.
