COVID-19: Increase in the toll of reported cases and deaths

Lahore, 16th May: With the ease in the lockdown in Pakistan, there is a rise in the coronavirus cases and the reported deaths are also increasing.
According to Baaghi TV, the number of coronavirus patients has reached up to 38,799, whereas 31 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours hours.
In the last 24 hours, 1,581 new coronavirus cases have been reported in Pakistan, bringing the total number of patients to 38,799, and 31 people lost their lives, bringing the total number of deaths to 834.

The highest number of coronavirus cases is reported in Sindh province, which is 14,916
in Punjab, the number is 14,201
5,678 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
2,457 in Balochistan
518 in Gilgit-Baltistan
921 in Islamabad
while in Azad Kashmir there are 108 patients.
So far 359,264 people have been tested in Pakistan, 14,878 new tests have been done in the last 24 hours, so far 10,880 patients have recovered.
In Pakistan, 31 people have lost their lives in one day from the virus, bringing the death toll to 834.
The highest death toll was recorded in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is 291, 255 deaths reported in Sindh, 245 in Punjab, 4 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 31 in Balochistan and 7 in Islamabad.
So far, patients are being treated at quarantine centers in 462 hospitals, with 7,295 beds arranged in these hospitals.
