National command & Operation Centre updates for COVID-19 on 20th April till 08:30
Total Active COVID cases in Pakistan are 6,272 with 425 new cases on 19th April, 2020.
A total of 8,418 cases detected so far in Azad Jammu & Kashmir 49, Balochistan 432, Gilgit-Baltistan 263, ICT 181, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 1,235, in Punjab 3,721, and Sindh 2,537.
So far 1,970 positive cases have recovered with the death toll reaching 176 deaths between the 17th and 19th of April.
- Sindh: 56
- Punjab: 42
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 67
- ICT: 3
- Balochistan: 5
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 3
So far 44 patients are reported as critical with 104,302 tests conducted in total. According to reports of the National Command and Operation Centre 4,873 tests were conducted on the 19th of April. Local transmission is 64% and foreign travel 36% as per provided statistics.
Reportedly, 590 hospitals with covid facilities are currently functioning across Pakistan with 2,216 patients admitted across the country.
