COVID-19: NCOC meeting, national policy developed on the recommendations of the WHO

A national policy developed during meeting of the National Command & Operation Center (NCOC) pertaining to Corona virus, based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). The Executive Director of the National Institute of Health briefed the meeting. It was informed in the briefing that, based on the recommendations of the WHO, a national policy on Corona has been prepared, under which it has been decided to start rapid Antigen Testing across the country. Under the procedure, the diagnosis of corona will be possible quickly and efficiently. Under this procedure, Corona tests will be conducted in accordance with international standards. In the first phase, antigen testing will be done in all government hospitals and laboratories. The federation and the provinces are jointly completing preparations for antigen testing.
