COVID-19: Pak Army takes action

Lahore, 20th March: Pakistan’s high civil and military commanders visited the newly-built quarantined place for the coronavirus patients at the Karachi Expo Centre today.

According to the reports of BaaghiTV, the high civil and military commanders visited the Expo center Karachi to oversee the situation.

With the help of the Pak Army, the Sindh government has set up a field hospital in one day. The hospital built at the expo center has 1100 beds in the first phase. There will be positive coronavirus patients kept over here.

The high military officials visited the camp and reviewed the preparations. Senior civilian and military officials provided complete instructions to ensure patients adhered to the facility and hygiene principles be followed at all costs. All possible facilities will be provided.

Coronavirus: The virus hits the Bollywood

Security spray is being carried out at the camp. Medical and security personnel are being deployed. Sindh government and Army teams are working together at the Quarantine Center.

Pakistan Army is in full support with the Sindh government and will provide the screening facilities for the diagnosis of coronavirus at the Karachi Airport.

It may be recalled that after the outbreak of coronavirus patients in Sindh, the government announced to build an isolation center at the Expo Center Karachi.

It may be reported that one patient has been killed by the coronavirus in Karachi.

A total number of 3 deaths has been reported in Pakistan and 245 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in Sindh and 81 cases in Balochistan, 96 cases have been reported in Punjab, 23 cases have been confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 21 cases in Gilgit-Baltistan and in Azad Kashmir, while 7 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Islamabad.
