LAHORE (24th September, 2020): Latest figures released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) show a rise in the number of cases detected in a single day, with confirmation of over seven hundred new cases. According to reports of Baaghi TV, 799 people tested COVID-19 positive on the 23rd of September while, 5 people lost their lives during the last 24 hours. 3 deaths were reported in the hospital and 2 patients died out of hospital on the 23rd of September. Total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan have reached 7,388 as of 24th September. It is to be noted that 42,299 tests were conducted on the 23rd of September with Sindh at 18,360, Punjab at 11,053, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) at 4,627, Islamabad at 6,149, Balochistan at 1,333, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) at 216, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) at 561. So far, 294,392 people have recovered within Pakistan, making it a significant count.
