Punjab reports another death, nationwide toll increases to 11

Lahore, 26th March: The coronavirus has effected more than 182 countries worldwide, with the death toll of 20,000 people globally.

According to the reports of Baaghi TV, the number of coronavirus patients in Pakistan has increased to 1,102.

Command and Control Center released new numbers of the coronavirus victims, Islamabad has 25 cases, 323 are in Punjab, Sindh has 417, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 121 affected persons, 131are in Balochistan, 81 in Gilgit Baltistan and 1 in Azad Kashmir.

It has been reported that 21 affected people have recovered, and 8 deaths have been reported nationwide, 5 coronavirus patients are in critical condition.

Coronavirus: The toll reaches 1000, 19 recovered in Pakistan

According to the Chief Minister Usman Bazdar’s tweet, the number of coronavirus patients in Punjab has increased to 323, including 176 Zaireen.

The virus in 21 patients has been eported in Gujarat, 8 in Gujranwala, 19 in Jhelum, 4 in Rawalpindi, 4 in Multan, 2 in Faisalabad, 1 each in Mandi Bahawaldin, Narowal, Rahim Yar Khan and Sargodha.

There are 45 patients in Lahore government hospitals and 32 in private hospitals. 29 patients have been admitted in Isolation ward of Lahore Mayo Hospital, 15 in PKLI and 1 in Services Hospital.

COVID-19: 14 days lockdown in Punjab

Lockdown is under way across the country to control the coronavirus, shops and markets are still closed today, public transport and train operations are also suspended, citizens are strictly advised not to leave their homes.

Lockdown began in the province at 9am yesterday, during which transport between the inner city and outside city is prohibited. Social, religious and other gatherings will also be banned; the city’s small markets are closed.
