Lahore, 25th April: Coronavirus has taken its toll in Punjab province, with 475 new cases of coronavirus reported the number has reached to 5,326.
According to a report from Baaghi TV, Punjab is surpassing the other provinces with the highest toll in the country so far.
As per reports, in Lahore alone, 214 new cases of coronavirus have been reported, bringing the number to 1,157. 81 new cases are from Rawalpindi, where the number has risen to 197.

There are 42 new cases of coronavirus from Gujarat, bringing the total number to 211. With 17 more cases of coronavirus in Jhelum, the number has risen to 55. 15 new cases are reported from Mandi Bahauddin, now the number has risen to 27.
10 more deaths have been reported in Punjab, so the death toll has risen to 78 in Punjab. The number of deaths in Lahore has reached 36 after 4 new deaths were reported today.
In Rawalpindi, the death toll from corona has risen to 22, in Gujranwala, a patient died of COVID-19, bringing the number to 2. One death has also been reported each from Sargodha and Rajanpur.
Lockdown has been extended in the province till the 15th of May, with some ease to the working class and construction and agriculture sector.
