According to figures released by the Maharashtra Health Department, 8,348 new cases of corona virus were reported in the state on Saturday, while 144 people died.
Since the increase, the total number of victims in the state has exceeded 300,000, while more than 11,000 people have died so far.
Of the 300,000 victims in the state, 100,000 are from Mumbai. In the last 24 hours, 1199 people have been infected with the corona virus in Mumbai and 65 people have died.
