Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav’s father has gone missing in Pune, police said on Monday. Jadhav’s father, Mahadev Jadhav, had gone missing from the Kothrood area of Pune since around 11:30 am.

However, Mahadev Jadhav was found by Kothrud Police in the evening after an hours-long search.

According to reports, he went out in the morning by misguiding the security guard and his phone was switched off after some time. Kedar Jadhav’s family had filed a missing complaint at Alankar police station.

Police have accessed CCTV footage in which he was last spotted in Karve Nagar. Police have also confirmed that Mahadev Jadhav is suffering from dementia — an impaired ability to remember or think.
