Cricketer Shoaib Akhtar gets appointed to an important post
Lahore, 22nd June: Pakistan’s fast-pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar has been appointed as an ambassador for the Motorway Police.
According to reports, Shoaib Akhtar, popularly known as the ‘Rawalpindi Express’ has now been appointed as an ambassador for Pakistan’s Motorway Police on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old sportsman posted a picture of himself with Motorway and Highway Police Inspector General Kaleem Iman and his team on his Instagram and Twitter account.

Akhtar tweeted, “Proud to be associated with Motorway Police of Pakistan as an ambassador. Will InshAllah play my part in creating awareness about road safety & inform people about traffic laws. We should all become an example for citizens to abide by laws.”
Shoaib Akhtar posted a picture of himself accepting a shield from the Motorway Police.
His fans congratulated the star and wished him luck.
