The time limit for filing an appeal has expired.
Under a presidential decree issued on May 20, Commander Kulbhushan Yadav himself, his lawyer or the Indian High Commission. He could have appealed to the government for a review within 60 days.
According to a report compiled by the national daily Dunya, a presidential order was issued on May 20, 2020 to review and review the Presidential Order of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to give Commander Kulbhushan Yadav the right to appeal against the death sentence.
Under the ordinance, Commander Kalbhushan was given the right to appeal against the death sentence passed by the Field General Court Martial within 60 days. According to the Ministry of Law and Justice, Kalbhushan Yadav himself, His lawyer or the Indian High Commission could have filed an appeal for review by the government (Islamabad) in the High Court.
The term of the ordinance is 120 days under Article 89 of the Constitution. However, the 60-day period given in the High Court to file an appeal against the death sentence of the military court has expired on July 19, 2020 at 12 noon.

Experts say that the ordinance has a validity of 120 days. After the expiry of the 60-day period given in the ordinance, the President may re-determine the period and issue a new or amended ordinance.

It is to be noted that Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav was arrested on March 3, 2018 from the Pakistan-Iran border area.
