Baaghi TV reports that the Indian Defense Minister is holding an emergency meeting with the army chiefs over the killing of three soldiers in Ladakh.
After the Defense Minister’s meeting, Indian Army spokespersons will brief the media on the killing of Indian Army personnel.
The meeting, chaired by Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, was attended by Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, the three service chiefs and Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar. The meeting discussed the recent tensions in eastern Ladakh. The Indian defense minister held consultations with army chiefs.

After the meeting, the Indian Army will brief the media today at 2 p.m. It should be noted that for the first time since 1975, Indian troops have been killed in firing by China. Last night at the LAC, the situation became tense between the Indian and Chinese troops at the site of the Gulwan Valley.
An Indian army colonel (commanding officer of an infantry battalion) and two young soldiers were killed in a clash with Chinese troops.
It may be recalled that the border clash between China and India which started on May 5 in Ladakh in the Gulwan Valley and then in the Nikola area of northeastern Sikkim. Three days later, there was severe bitterness in India and China. China had invaded Indian territory in Ladakh and captured the Indian army. Which were later abandoned.
According to Indian media reports, tensions continue between the Chinese and Indian armies. The two countries have delivered large quantities of arms and vehicles near the border. The number of troops in military bases has increased.
