Lahore, 29th March: Decision against the bail application of PML-N’s Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s husband Captain (R) Safdar Awan was decided in another case.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, Captain Safdar’s case of excess in assets was heard in the Lahore High Court on Monday.
The court has given a deadline for submission of reply to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The prosecutor asked the court to give time to submit report and reply in excess of income case.
The court granted NAB’s plea and granted respite to the anti-corruption watchdog.
According to reports, Capt (retd) Safdar’s interim bail has been extended till April 15.
