Dilip Kumar stable and soon to be discharged

Lahore, 10th June: Legendary Bollywood superstar Dilip Kumar is stable and will be discharged from the hospital soon.

According to reports, Dilip Kumar will be discharged from the hospital on Thursday as he has undergone a successful pleural aspiration procedure.

Faisal Farooqui, a close associate of Kumar confirmed the news on Twitter and updated his fans about his latest health condition.

It is to be remembered that earlier this week Dilip Kumar was diagnosed with pleural effusion, for which he was getting treatment from a non-COVID hospital in Mumbai, his wife Saira Banu had reported.

Thanking Dilip’s fans, Faisal Farooqui, who handles Dilip Kumar’s Twitter handle, wrote, “A successful pleural aspiration procedure was performed on Dilip Saab.”

He updated the fans on June 9 that he personally spoke to Dr. Jalil Parkar and Dr. Nitin Gokhale. They are optimistic that he will be discharged tomorrow (Thursday).

Earlier, Farooqui had also denied rumors of Dilip Kumar’s passing away and confirmed that he had only been hospitalized and as per his doctors, he will be discharged in 2-3 days.

Baaghi TV had reported that Dilip Kumar had been shifted to a hospital on June 6 after he complained of difficulty in breathing.
