Directives Issued to Prepare Surplus Teachers’ Lists Afresh

RAWALPINDI, August 19 (Online Int’l): The decision has been taken to prepare the lists of surplus teachers afresh in the District Rawalpindi.
According to media reports the District Education Authority Rawalpindi has started the preparation for reshuffling teachers. It has directed all the DAOs to prepare the lists and this process will be completed during this month.
Those teachers who have completed more than 10 years during services in one school will also be shifted to nearby schools. 58 years old teachers will stand exempted from rationalisation. The rationalisation was done in 2014, after which the teachers didn’t allow this process to be completed.
The teachers organizations have demanded of the government to postpone the rationalisation till April 2021.
