Duke, Duchess of Cambridge attend Kate's brother's wedding

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, made a quick trip to France over the weekend to attend the latter’s brother’s wedding.

According to reports, recently, Duchess Kate Middleton’s brother James Middleton married fiancée Alizée Thévenet at Chateau Leoube, a vineyard in Provence. 50 guests were invited among which were Kate, William, and their three children.

The couple was, details state, married at the Bormes-les-Mimosas town hall, the village where the vineyard is located, by the local mayor. The wedding party then took place at Chateau Leoube, famous for its wine, which the guests were served on the occasion.

James Middleton reported met Alizée Thévenet at a private club in 2018, months after getting into treatment for depression. In 2019, the two engaged and had planned to marry in 2020, but twice their plans were delayed due to the pandemic. He shared pictures on his Instagram account, captioning the image “Mr. and Mrs. Middleton”.

It is to be noted that the Chateau Leoube is owned by Lord Anthony and Lady Carole Bamford, owners of a construction company and organic farm in Britain and are British themselves. Lady Carole shares her first name with the groom’s mother Carole Middleton, and both also used to have careers as flight attendants.
