During excavations, Buddha statues and coins of 1840s recovered

INDIA: Excavations at Kotla Lodhian, the hometown of former Indian King Ibrahim Lodhi, have unearthed pre-Christian Buddha statues and 1840s coins.
According to the information available to the Regional Telegraph, Muhammad Asif, head teacher of Government Primary School Kotla Lodhian, Tehsil Piazpur, District Dera Ismail Khan, said that he was digging in the land adjacent to the school for seasonal tree planting.
Some antiquities from the 19th century, including statues and coins, and some rare coins from the 1840s British period have been found.
