Exploiting patients: Hameed Latif Hospital’s ruthless behaviour
Lahore, 7th January: One of Lahore’s most reputable hospital facility Hameed Latif has been alleged of charging a huge amount of money from its patients.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, this is not the first time the hospital has been charged with inhumane behaviour.
A few months back in April 2020, Baaghi TV had reported about the cruel behaviour of the hospital administration towards their healthcare workers. It was reported that the admin had refused to pay full salaries to its employees despite the workers carrying out their full duties.
Now Baaghi TV has been informed about some very shocking events that had recently happened to the victims who were under treatment at the hospital facility.
A person who remains to be anonymous reported that Hameed Latif Hospital, Lahore, has been charging its patients with an unreasonable amount of money.
The person reported that one of his associate’s mother, who got infected with the coronavirus, passed away recently at Hameed Latif Hospital. After spending more than a month in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the lady died. Adding to the tragedy, the family had to pay more than Rs 6 million in the form of hospital charges.
Another case has also been reported, alleging the hospital with the same charges. The source reported that one of his acquaintances, who was also under treatment at the Hameed Latif Hospital for COVID-19, had to go through the same gluttonous attitude. He was charged with a massive bill of Rs 7,50,000 after spending 7 days under their care.
A reputable hospital like Hameed Latif is playing with people’s lives and greedily robbing them of their money at the time of need.
Authorities are reported to take strict action against the hospital!
