2nd September: Facebook and BJP’s nefarious nexus has been exposed, the Modi government has come to the rescue of Facebook India’s criminals.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, after the BJP’s direct connection with Facebook came to light, the Indian opposition party Congress has once again written a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg urging him to take necessary steps.
Accusing the BJP and Facebook collision, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said that the international media had exposed the “arrogance” of social media on India’s democracy and social harmony.

As per his tweet, targeting social media, Rahul Gandhi tagged a recent report in the Wall Street Journal in which an executive allegedly posted internal messages in favor of the BJP after Facebook employees had questioned the impartiality of his Indian team.
Based on a report in the popular American magazine Time, Congress has accused Facebook of using a person linked to the BJP’s election campaign to get a license for a payment facility on WhatsApp.
He said that the international media has fully exposed the attack of Facebook and WhatsApp on India’s democracy and social harmony.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted that “No one, No foreign company can be allowed to interfere in the internal affairs of our country. He should be immediately interrogated and punished when he is found guilty.”

The American social media company Facebook has stated in its defense that the company bans hate speech or content that promotes violence and when implementing this policy globally, it is not seen as politically motivated from the situation or a political party.
Meanwhile, Union Minister for IT Ravi Shankar Prasad in a three-page letter to Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg accused the Facebook India team of spreading complaints and prejudice against the central government’s views.

Tagging Prasad’s letter to Zuckerberg, Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala claimed that the Modi government comes to the rescue of Facebook India’s criminals because the ugly nexus has been exposed. Rejecting the Congress’ allegations, BJP leaders are accusing Facebook of supporting other parties.

Amit Malviya, head of the ruling party’s IT cell, has accused the “Congress-Facebook nexus”. Citing international media reports, the Congress said in a statement that the global leadership of Facebook was aware of the bias but was ready to be a partner in it.
The Congress has said that there is a nexus between the BJP and Facebook and that the probe should be carried out without delay.
Criticizing the Congress for accusing the BJP and Facebook of a collision, Malaviya said on Saturday that it was not a social media firm but the people of India who supported Rahul Gandhi.
