May 2, 2021: Facebook, the largest social media platform, saw a 48% increase in revenue due to online shopping during the global pandemic.

BaaghiTV: According to a report by foreign news agency Reuters, during the global epidemic, Facebook’s revenue from online shopping of consumers increased by 48%, in view of which Facebook says that it will advertise in the future and will focus on e-commerce features to enhance.

“We have a long way to go to get a platform full of commercial features, but I’m determined to get there,” Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg told a news conference.

Zuckerberg added that Facebook has seen an increase in the number of monthly active users, with Facebook users growing by 10% to 2.85 billion. Google’s parent company Alphabet recently reported record profits in the three months to March as its advertising revenue grew by a third due to “increased online consumer activity” because people around the world are now spending more time indoors to avoid the corona virus.
