Fake News on Farhan Shafi busted
Ministry of Information Technology and Broadcasting has issued a warning against circulation of fake and baseless news.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the ministry has cleared its position and contradicted any appointment of Farhan Shafi.
The Ministry in its message on Twitter clarified that appointment of Mr. Farhan Shafi as Managing Director PMDC was never in consideration and the news was baseless.

They emphasized that unethical and false news creates chaos and distrust in the society which proves fatal.
Moreover, the spreading of fake news is a criminal offense and such practices should be refrained.
