Fazlur Rehman meets PML-Q chief Shujaat Hussain to discuss political situation

President Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), a coalition of opposition parties, and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

According to the details, the PDM President reached Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s residence in Lahore where he was received by Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. During the meeting, Fazlur Rehman inquired about Shujaat Hussain’s health and also prayed for his speedy recovery.

An insider informed Baaghi TV that no-confidence motion against the government and political and economic situation of the country were discussed during the meeting.

It may be recalled that just yesterday, the PDM had announced to launch a no-confidence motion against the government and to contact the coalition parties.

The PML-Q is part of the ruling coalition in the federation and Punjab.
