Lahore, 13th January: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sent Atif Aslam a tax notice worth 58 million.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, FBR has sent a tax notice to the world-renowned singer Atif Aslam, worth 58 million after the audit of his income for the year 2018 was carried out.

As per reports, a month’s notice has been given to the singer to pay his tax. The revenue board will make the recovery by freezing his bank accounts if the singer fails to pay the due amount.

This is not the first time when a member of the entertainment industry has come under the radar of the bureau. According to earlier reports, in October 2020, the FBR launched an inquiry to investigate Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s sources of income.

In 2019, the FBR requested the citizens, showbiz and media personalities to declare their assets and warned them that if they don’t they will have to face disciplinary action.

Atif is one of Pakistan’s biggest stars who sang ‘Kadi Te Hans Bol’ on 20 November 2020 at Velo Sound Station which got 2.5 M views in 2 days of its release.
