Federal Board of Revenue Launches New Website

Islamabad (18th Oct, 2019): Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) launches new website to facilitate tax payers.

According to reports, FBR launched a new website in Urdu to facilitate the public in paying their taxes. FBR Chairman, Shabbar Zaidi, who acted as the Chief Guest at the launching ceremony stated that the aim of website is to provide information related to filing of income and sales taxes, respectively.

Moreover, Tehmina Amir and Mustafa Sajjad Hassan further briefed participants on the importance of website and the various functions it offers as facilitation for tax payers. As confirmed by sources, details pertaining to customs, income tax, as well as FBR have already been uploaded to the website.

It has been stressed that Pakistani citizens across the state will be able to access required details concerning income, sales and/or other taxes from the newly launched website. FBR Chairman further ensured that the Federal Board of Revenue will be getting complete automation soon adding that this automation will aid tax payers.
