Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has also been activated after the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) released the Pandora Papers, revealing the financial affairs of high-profile individuals around the world..
According to the details, sources said that the Director General (DG) FIA has activated the cyber crime wing after the Pandora Papers Leak came to light. Sources also said that since the release of the details of the Pandora Papers, all the investigative agencies of Pakistan, especially the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Pakistan and FIA, have become active.
The latest update on the list of names has revealed quite a few of Pakistan’s political figures as well as media group owners, family members of army personnel and businessmen and executives.

Some latest reports reveal that media mogul Mir Shakil ur Rehman, CEO DAWN News Hameed Haroon, CEO Express News Sultan Ali Lakhani, owner of Peshawar Zalmi and Haier Pakistan Javed Afridi and many more have been named in the Pandora Papers.
It may be recalled that yesterday, ICIJ had released details of offshore companies set up in various countries by personalities from all over the world, including the names of more than 700 Pakistanis.
