FIA probes Ali Tareen in sugar scandal

Lahore, 9th April: Jahangir Tareen’s son Ali Tareen appears before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) regarding his Sugar Mill’s case.

According to Baaghi TV reports, FIA summoned Ali Tareen on Friday for investigation against his sugar scandal case.

FIA needs junior Tareen to answer five questions in accordance with the alleged financial fraud worth Rs 4 billion in sugar mills cases against the betting mafia.

Ali Tareen appeared before the agency under strict security measures ad left the office after being interrogated for one and a half hours.

As per reports, Jahangir Tareen is also expected to appear before the FIA today before 3:00 pm.

It is pertinent to mention here FIA has summoned Jahangir Tareen and his son Ali Tareen to reappear on April 9 in separate cases.

Ali Tareen was being investigated for allegedly defrauding the shareholders and has been asked by the agency to bring a money trail regarding the sale for selling the JKFSL sugar business.
