Baaghi TV: The resolution to append Khatim-un-Nabiyyeen to the name of Prophet Muhammad SAW has been passed in the Senate. After the National Assembly, the Senate has also unanimously passed the resolution to add Khatim-un-Nabiyyeen to the blessed name of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, in all documents and syllabuses. The resolution was proposed by Senator from Jamaat-i-Islami Mushtaq Ahmed.
Previously, the National Assembly had unanimously passed the resolution to make it mandatory to print, read, and recite the name of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, with Khatim-un-Nabiyyeen, in all textbooks. The resolution had been proposed by PMLN MNA Noor-ul-Hasan Tanveer. He said that in the textbooks of 7th, 8th and 9th in Punjab and KPK, Khatim-un-Nabiyyeen is being removed from alongside the name of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Notice should be taken of this so that it remains in place.
