Former DG FIA Bashir Memon takes a U-turn

Lahore, 2nd May: Former Director-General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Bashir Memon has reportedly withdrawn allegations leveled against the Prime Minister and the government.
On the other hand, where the PML-N is worried about Bashir Memon’s U-turn after taking back the charges, the government, on the other hand, seems satisfied with his decision.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Relations Shahbaz Gill shared Bashir Memon’s video clip of an interview on a private TV channel on his Twitter account and wrote that for the last several days, Bashir Memon has been lying.
He further wrote, “As soon as Bashir Memon had to give an account of his mills, he spat and licked himself. He withdrew his accusation. I believe in Allah. PM Khan is the true lover of Muhammad and Allah protects Khan.”

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry also tweeted on his account, “Accuse the Prime Minister, make headlines and take a U-turn later.”

Fawad Chaudhry wrote, “If you say something to a media channel the media freedom is in danger and if you ask a guest, he uses the slogan of political revenge.” The Federal Minister stressed that such a series should be stopped immediately.
