Former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi indicted
Lahore, 5th August 2020: The accountability court has indicted the former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and others.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, during the hearing of the case related to illegal recruitment in PSO in Karachi Accountability Court, the court has indicted the accused including the former Prime Minister.
The accused pleaded not guilty in the courtroom.
Earlier, in the PSO recruitment case, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Secretary Petroleum Arshad Mirza, former MD PSO Sheikh Imran ul Haq, Chief Finance Officer Yaqub Sattar appeared in the court.
Earlier it was reported that Shahid Khaqan and other accused have been granted bail by the Sindh High Court.
The NAB says that Shahid Khaqan had illegally appointed Sheikh Imranul Haq as the Petroleum Minister.
