Game of Thrones Cast Defend Final Season at Comic-Con

San Diego (20th July, 2019): Game of Thrones cast defend final season in front of a boisterous crowd at the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday. 

According to Baaghi TV’s sources, the cast of Game of Thrones defend the final season of the series blaming the media for backlash faced for the finale. HBO’s conclusion for the fantasy epic was a source of enrage for fans all over the world.

Although the cast was generally welcomed with rapturous applause, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ho played the character of Jaime Lannister, was reportedly booed after describing his characters’ death as “perfect”. He continued to say that the ending made sense to him.

Coster-Waldau added, “This show has brought so many people together, watching it, loving it. So obviously when it comes to an end it’s going to piss you off no matter what … just don’t call people names”.

Reportedly, an online petition signed by 1.6 million people gained to HBO demanded that the last season be remade with “competent writers”. Conleth Hill who played Varys discussed that the fan reponse to the show was largely positive through the years continuing to say that the negativity garnered by the final season as a “media-led hate campaign”.

Even Isaac Hempstead Wright who played Bran’s character commented that the unexpected ending was a source of strength. He stated that the fact the ending didn’t end neatly, proves “they’re not finished, there’s no full stop. It’s not finished conclusively, it lets you read into it”.
