Gandhi’s Ashes Stolen On 150th Birthday

The ashes of Anti colonial nationalist, Mahatma Gandhi has been stolen from a memorial in India on the 150th anniversary of his birthday.

According to details, on the 150th anniversary of his birthday, hindu extremists has stolen ashes of Mahatma Gandhi. A picture of Gandhi was also defaced with the word “traitor” at the Bapu Bhawan memorial where the items have been kept since 1948.

Reportedly, Gandhi led a non-violent resistance movement against the British colonial rule in India. He was assassinated by a Hindu extremist in January 1948 for being too pro muslim.
